I-THINK Research
(Innovative Translation of Health Informatics & Knowledge Research)
Health care is an issue of great concern throughout the world. An aging population, increased longevity and the co-occurrence of diseases have put an enormous strain on health care systems globally. Innovative ways to address primary and secondary prevention are needed.

The goal of I-THINK Research is to collaborate with investigators and companies throughout the world to research health informatics and create novel approaches to health care. Our objective is to translate research discoveries into patient care.

I-THINK Research develops new methods to further understand disease, utilizing information from the bench (biological, genomics, proteomics), clinical data (biomarkers, co-morbidities, etc.) and imaging data (MRI, PET, SPECT) to apply to the bedside and ultimately the community. Mathematical models of disease risk are utilized to enable interventions to be developed in a targeted cost-effective manner.

To facilitate health informatics knowledge translation, we are developing the following products and services:
  • Collaborative Think Tank
  • Registry Development
  • Database Conversion to Web Interface
  • Research Consulting Services
  • Other Customized Services
